Perillo Urges Pay Cut For Legislators

Representative Jason Perillo (R-Shelton) spoke before the House of Representatives in January imploring that the legislature set an example of leadership amidst the state’s budget crisis and approve an amendment that would have cut legislative salaries by 5%. The measure failed along party lines with all Republicans voting in favor of the pay cut.
