A measure to provide immunity from lawsuits to persons who provide automatic external defibrillators in their buildings and places of business received final legislative approval May 12th by the state House of Representatives. A measure that will encourage more fire departments to install smoke and carbon monoxide detectors in the homes of senior citizens and the home-bound has been approved by the state House of Representatives, state Representatives Jason Perillo and Lawrence G. Miller said today.
